Join Bethel Church for a powerful and practical weekend conference designed to empower you to radiate. Our keynote speakers include internationally known author, speaker and missionary Gari Meacham, powerhouse worship vocalist and women’s ministry leader Rhonda Williams, and our own pastor’s wife and Women’s Ministry Director, Amanda Tadlock. Worship will be led by Blake Ainsworth, worship pastor at First Moss Bluff, and his wife Krystle. You’ll also have a choice of helpful, fun and relatable breakout sessions to attend throughout the weekend.
At Radiate, you’ll be more than just inspired. You’ll be empowered and mobilized to become all that you were created to be!

Isaiah 62 gives an amazing description of the people of God. “Arise, shine,” the prophet says. “For your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen up on you.” In this scripture, we see a people of God who are joyful. Hopeful. Wise. Magnetic. Visionary. Victorious—because they carry the life-giving, eternity changing light of the world within them. Isaiah says those of us who look to God are radiant.
But…life doesn’t always allow us to feel radiant, does it? And what exactly does it look like to radiate? In the midst of busy lives, mental health struggles, conflicts and relationship breakdowns, or just simply not knowing where to start, it can seem like we’ll never shine brightly for Jesus. But that doesn’t have to be your story. And that’s what this weekend is all about.
Gari is an author, speaker and international Bible teacher who travels the globe with her inspirational messages. She and her huband Bobbie have traipsed this country over 47 times moving from state to state with major league baseball as a player, coach and manager. They have three fantastic kids and two insanely cute grand-babies.
Gari is the founder and CEO of Truly Fed Ministries, a nonprofit devoted to providing resources for those longing for freedom and maturity in their intimacy with Christ. Gari is also founder and President of The Vine Uganda, an organization that provides refuge and hope for vulnerable women and children in rural Uganda.
“I love words. Spoken, unspoken, written, recited, or sung. I love the way words can change, challenge, and heal us. Mostly, I love God’s words…the Bible. His words have healed me, changed me, and sustained me. I think that’s why it’s my favorite thing to talk about. I thrive on teaching and speaking to groups of God seekers. In any setting, these are my people. Nothing energizes me more than the look in the eyes of those who want to grow spiritually.
Rhonda Williams is a wife, mom, big sis and grammy! She has been married 43 years- and counting- to her best friend- Tim, who first met her when she was about 6 weeks old! They have 3 adult daughters (and sons-in-love), 9 grandchildren, 3 grand-dogs and the latest editions- 3 grand-chickens! (Yep! You read that right!)
From a nursing career to Drop-Out Prevention to serving pregnant teens to teaching high school kiddos, Rhonda has seized each opportunity with a passion to pursue God’s path and purposes.
Since 2015, Rhonda has served as the Director of Women’s Ministry at Second Baptist Church – West Campus in Houston, Texas.
If Rhonda were to summarize her life-journey in three words, they would be: rescued, redeemed and ready! Rescued from a life marred by poor choices and brokenness; redeemed by the love of the Savior that would not let go- and now? Readyto share and equip others to live out a life of hope, restoration, and true freedom in Christ.
Amanda is a writer, speaker, Bible teacher and pastor’s wife with over a decade of frontline ministry leadership experience. She has been married to her husband Michael for 13 years, and they have a precious eight-year-old daughter with an adoption story that is nothing short of miraculous. They have lived and served together all over, from the densely packed city of Houston to the wide open spaces of a rice farm in Morse, Louisiana.
Amanda calls herself a “net mender,” to the church, because her passion is to help Christ followers make connections that fuel fulfillment and growth to their walk with Christ. To that end, she writes, creates Bible studies, and builds programs in her church to inspire and equip others. Her goal is to instill biblical competence and confidence that will help others respond biblically to life’s questions and challenges.
